let the blind lead those who can see but cannot feel.
Honestly Shut the fuck up nobody is trying to to take credit for his work, don’t be stupid. People were pointing out his skin color because they feel good seeing this in the media rather than some white news anchor talk about black crime. Nobody was reduced to anything and nobody was taking credit for his work stop trying to put your own narrative with an exaggerated spin on things it doesn’t make it the truth I’m sorry to tell you this. people feeling pride in someone doing good who just happens to be a minority and their own minority. It’s as if maybe you people don’t want them to point out he’s black and to be happy about his heritage because you don’t want him to be black or proud of their heritage.
God forbid, I know.
I don’t know if you were following this lovely thing called “Michael Brown’s murder”, but it seemed like there was a lot less “black people are evil” and a lot more “white people are fucking racist”.
God forbid a black person be reduced to their skin color so other black people can take credit for said black person’s accomplishments. Those evil pale faces wanting to focus on more than someone’s skin color. The oppression is so real.
I am crying to Come Down to Us by Burial right now, it’s a breathtaking song that brings out something truly glorious, heart wrenching, and hopeful. I remember every terrible sad event that I’ve ever experienced or know and I imagine others who have experienced the furthest reaches of human suffering and how lonely it made them feel. It resolves to that true feeling of understanding and sharing experiences to lift each other into another world of being after feeling trapped and unable to realize the true absolute freedom of being and feeling so magnificent in a world that had rejected that for so long.
I Want nothing less than to make nobody ever have to feel so terrible or unwanted for just being. I feel so much for Trans people who have struggled for so long and continue to do so in our world. Any lost and confused and hurt trans people need to know that they are in every aspect wonderful and more than what the world has ever let them be. The transcendent love that this song conveys should be listened to as a beacon for love and acceptance for everyone who has been beaten down by the cruel and abusive life and people who refuse to understand. Anyone who has been abused and treated so cruelly that they question their validity as a human capable of receiving or giving love need to hear that they will be loved for exactly who they are.
It’s as if there is a place where they can always feel this way somewhere in the universe that’s full of love that goes beyond any world we’ve created. I feel like my heart and soul are being torn out and thrown into universal light that binds to them turning the heaviness and pain into transcending beautiful light. I can feel that place inside my heart and inside this song, It conveys the power of our trapped spirits transforming from a form beyond a physical being as a light that embraces all. Our transformation has already begun in the lives of these people who need to be able to become what they feel. Everyone should become what they feel. Becoming that, with the experience and true emotion of pain and suffering turning into empathy and true love will lead us somewhere beyond what we could ever imagine. I feel that light beaming down, I hope others feel it too and how important it is to feel loved and accepted without having to feel anything else. “You are not alone.”

It’s not easy facing up when your whole world is black
